  1. To use Android Cloud to Device Messaging (C2DM) in your application(s), you must first register a 'sender' account with Google and provide contact information using this form. You will receive an email at the 'Contact email' address that you specified in the registration form when your registration has been processed.”

  2. Complete the form.

  3. Choose Submit and wait for an email from Google stating that you've been authorized to use C2DM.
IMPORTANT NOTE:  The default quota for the number of messages sent using C2DM (as set by Google) is 200,000 per day.  For apps that will send more than the default number of messages, a simple email to the Cloud-to-Device Messaging Team at android-c2dm@google.com should be sent explaining your needs, desired quota, and your C2DM registration email account.  To date, we have experienced no issues with Google increasing the number to the desired amount and the Google team has been extremely responsive.
