  1. Register with BlackBerry for Push Service Credentials. There are two options: Production and Testing. You will need to supply the following information:
    1. Application Name and Description
    2. Transport (BlackBerry Internet Service)
    3. Total Number of Subscribers
    4. Pushes per Day, per Subscriber
    5. Average KB of Pushed Payload (2KB)
    6. Push Service Type (BlackBerry Push Essentials)
    7. Region in which this Service will Mainly be Offered
    8. Source IP Address for Pushes: 50.16.70.13
  2. Within 24 to 48 hours, you should receive the Credentials from BlackBerry. You will need these credentials when you register with Xtify (below). The credentials will include: 
    1. Usage: BIS - Client: Application Credentials (for use in your client application)
    2. Application ID :XXX-XXXXXXXXXX
    3. Push Port:XXXXX
    4. Push URL to submit your pushes to the BlackBerry system
  3. From the BlackBerry Developer site, register to download the BlackBerry Push SDK that includes the Push Library.
