- Register with BlackBerry for Push Service Credentials. There are two options: Production and Testing. You will need to supply the following information:
- Application Name and Description
- Transport (BlackBerry Internet Service)
- Total Number of Subscribers
- Pushes per Day, per Subscriber
- Average KB of Pushed Payload (2KB)
- Push Service Type (BlackBerry Push Essentials)
- Region in which this Service will Mainly be Offered
- Source IP Address for Pushes: 50.16.70.13
- Within 24 to 48 hours, you should receive the Credentials from BlackBerry. You will need these credentials when you register with Xtify (below). The credentials will include:
- Usage: BIS - Client: Application Credentials (for use in your client application)
- Application ID :XXX-XXXXXXXXXX
- Push Port:XXXXX
- Push URL to submit your pushes to the BlackBerry system
- From the BlackBerry Developer site, register to download the BlackBerry Push SDK that includes the Push Library.
