Xtify Client DownloadThe Xtify downloadable client offers developers the opportunity to have a mobile presence without creating their own mobile applications.
With the Xtify downloadable client, developers can access the full range of services provided by Xtify including: Step 1: Sign up for an application keyClick here to sign up for an application key Step 2: Create download linkThe download link includes the application key (cpid) and a unique id for each of your users. It is important to make sure you give each user a UNIQUE user key. If you do not, every new user will take over updates for that user ID and the old users will no longer be accessible by your application. These are defined by the developer / web application itself, not Xtify. To add a new user, have them download the Xtify client from this address: http://download.xtify.com/download?userkey=XXX&cpid=YYY userkey = The user id defined here by the developer (not Xtify) for that particular user. cpid = The Application Key generated by Xtify for that particular web application (short for Content Provider ID). Every future query of that user's location will use the cpid and userkey as an identifier. Once the download is completed, the new user will be added to the database for the associated application. Note that if that user already has the latest version of the Xtify client on his or her phone, only registration of the new user id occurs.
